These are laser cut wooden stamps, based on the underglaze transfer, Hawaiian Tapa Cloth. There are 10 stamps in each set that compliment each other and can be arranged in different ways to make unique designs. They are 3/8” thick and make a deep impression when pressed into clay. They work best on medium to leather hard clay. The use of cornstarch brushed on the stamps and the clay surface before using can help them release more easily. These stamps can also be used for printing on clay with underglaze or on paper with ink or paint. See photo for measurements.
