Fern #1 Stencil
This listing is for the Fern #1 stencil that is made out of a .005” polycarbonate film or a .015” premium quality plastic that is flexible, waterproof, non-absorbent, and sticks and releases easily from clay. This stencil comes in 3 sizes measured from top to bottom: 13”, 11” or 9” tall. You will receive both a “positive” and a “negative” of this stencil.
THICKNESSES:
.005" – Best for water abrasion and/or printing on clay.
.015" – Best for creating texture.

A quick demo on water abrasion and using stencils. So the area under the stencil stays raised while sponging away the clay around it. It's the opposite effect of rolling a thicker type stencil onto clay to create depth.
