Underglaze Transfer - Animal Silhouettes

$7.50

A bold woodland-themed underglaze transfer filled with black animal silhouettes in a lively, all-over arrangement. The design features deer, elk, moose, bears, wolves, foxes, wild boars, rabbits, squirrels, owls, birds, and other forest creatures, accented with paw prints, leaves, mushrooms, insects, feathers, and berries. The variety of sizes and poses makes it easy to create an energetic full-surface pattern or cut out individual animals for smaller ceramic projects.

  • Underglaze transfer on thin rice tissue paper.

  • Extra Large Size: 19”x13”.

  • Test samples are included with every order. Always test transfers first before committing to a large piece or body of work.

  • Temperature Range: Cone 06-10. Zinc-free Clear Glaze Recommended.

  • Level of Difficulty: Difficult. Large areas of color will require a lot of burnishing. Will need touching up.

  • PLEASE NOTE: It is not recommended to rub, sponge or rinse bisqued pieces before glazing as some of the transfers can still smear at this stage.

  • Once glazed, the transfers are permanently fused to the clay and are considered food safe as long as the glaze used over them is rated food safe.

  • Check out the Underglaze Transfer process page for detailed instructions on how to use these transfers and/or download instructions here.
