This black underglaze transfer features a lively collection of bird silhouettes perched on branches, flying through foliage, and nestled among flowers and grasses. The design includes a variety of songbirds, hummingbirds, ravens, and decorative botanical elements, giving the sheet a beautiful mix of movement, contrast, and natural detail.
These bold silhouettes are perfect for adding a graphic, nature-inspired look to mugs, plates, vases, tiles, and other ceramic pieces. Use the birds individually as small focal points, combine them into layered scenes, or wrap branches and floral elements around forms for a more decorative composition.

This transfer design is also offered as a “Second”, which means there are just a few small flaws in the printed design.
Temperature Range: Cone 06-10. Zinc-free Clear Glaze Recommended.
Level of Difficulty: Medium. Large areas of color will require more burnishing. Will need touching up.
PLEASE NOTE: It is not recommended to rub, sponge or rinse bisqued pieces before glazing as some of the transfers can still smear at this stage.
Once glazed, the transfers are permanently fused to the clay and are considered food safe as long as the glaze used over them is rated food safe.
