Underglaze Transfer - Crowns
This Crowns underglaze transfer features a playful collection of black crown illustrations in a wide variety of styles and sizes. The sheet includes ornate royal crowns, simple graphic crowns, sketchy hand-drawn crowns, jeweled crowns, and bold silhouette-style designs scattered across the page.
The mix of fine linework and solid black shapes gives the transfer a fun, regal, slightly whimsical feel. These designs would be great for mugs, plates, bowls, ornaments, birthday pieces, celebration-themed ceramics, kids’ pottery, or any piece that needs a little “queen,” “king,” or royal flair. The smaller crowns can be used as simple accents, while the larger crowns make strong focal points.
Underglaze transfer on thin rice tissue paper.
Extra Large Size: 19”x13”.
Test samples are included with every order. Always test transfers first before committing to a large piece or body of work.
Temperature Range: Cone 06-10. Zinc-free Clear Glaze Recommended.
This transfer design is also offered as a “Second”, which means there are just a few small flaws in the printed design.
Level of Difficulty: Easy.
PLEASE NOTE: It is not recommended to rub, sponge or rinse bisqued pieces before glazing as some of the transfers can still smear at this stage.
Once glazed, the transfers are permanently fused to the clay and are considered food safe as long as the glaze used over them is rated food safe.
Check out the Underglaze Transfer process page for detailed instructions on how to use these transfers and/or download instructions here.
