Underglaze Transfer - Crustaceans and Fish
This underglaze transfer features a beautifully illustrated mix of coastal seafood motifs, including lobsters, crabs, shrimp, oysters, mussels, and several varieties of fish. Rendered in a detailed vintage natural-history style, each element has fine linework and subtle texture that gives the sheet a classic scientific-illustration feel.
With its assortment of larger focal images and smaller accent elements, this transfer is perfect for creating ocean-inspired plates, platters, bowls, mugs, tiles, and serving pieces. Use the images individually, repeat them in patterns, or combine them to create your own seaside composition. A great choice for coastal, nautical, and seafood-themed ceramic work.
Underglaze transfer printed on thin rice tissue paper.
Extra Large Size: 19”x13”.
Test samples are included with every order. Always test transfers first before committing to a large piece or body of work.
Temperature Range: Cone 06-10. Zinc-free Clear Glaze Recommended.
Level of Difficulty: Easy.
PLEASE NOTE: It is not recommended to rub, sponge or rinse bisqued pieces before glazing as some of the transfers can still smear at this stage.
Once glazed, the transfers are permanently fused to the clay and are considered food safe as long as the glaze used over them is rated food safe.
