This underglaze transfer features an airy all-over pattern of dandelion seed heads and floating seeds in fine black linework. The design has a light, delicate botanical feel, with repeating round dandelion forms, thin stems, and scattered drifting seeds that create a sense of movement across the sheet.
The open spacing makes it feel soft and graceful rather than dense, and the simple black-and-white style would work beautifully on mugs, bowls, vases, planters, tiles, trays, and larger slab-built pieces. It’s a lovely transfer for nature-inspired pottery, garden themes, spring designs, or pieces with a quiet, whimsical, windblown feel.

PLEASE NOTE: The white transfers transfer a little differently than the other colors. They are lighter in appearance and more subtle when fired. Please test white transfers on your clay body and glaze before creating a large body of work, i.e. some of the white transfers do not work well on Sio-2 Black PRNF clay.
PLEASE NOTE: It is not recommended to rub, sponge or rinse bisqued pieces before glazing as some of the transfers can still smear at this stage.
Once glazed, the transfers are permanently fused to the clay and are considered food safe as long as the glaze used over them is rated food safe.
