Underglaze Transfer - Field Borders
This underglaze transfer features three long meadow-style border strips in bold black silhouette. Each border is filled with layered grasses, wildflowers, seed heads, ferns, leafy stems, and small butterflies, creating the look of a dense field or garden edge.
The design has a dramatic black-and-white contrast, with the plants rising up from a solid ground line. It would work beautifully wrapped around mugs, bowls, vases, planters, trays, and platters, especially around rims, bases, or as a landscape-style band.
The silhouette style gives it a slightly moody, nature-inspired feel while still being simple and versatile. It would be great for meadow, woodland, wildflower, garden, or botanical-themed ceramic pieces.
High quality underglaze transfer printed on thin rice tissue paper.
Extra Large Size: 19”x13”.
Test samples are included with every order. Always test transfers first before committing to a large piece or body of work.
Temperature Range: Cone 06-10. Zinc-free Clear Glaze Recommended.
Level of Difficulty: Easy.
PLEASE NOTE: It is not recommended to rub, sponge or rinse bisqued pieces before glazing as some of the transfers can still smear at this stage.
Once glazed, the transfers are permanently fused to the clay and are considered food safe as long as the glaze used over them is rated food safe.
Check out the Underglaze Transfer process page for detailed instructions on how to use these transfers and/or download instructions here.
