Underglaze Transfer - Folksy Cats and Dogs
The Folksy Cats and Dogs underglaze transfer features a playful collection of bold black cat and dog designs in a charming folk-art style. The sheet includes a mix of framed and unframed animals, little houses, suns, moons, plants, dots, stripes, spirals, and decorative geometric details.
The high-contrast black artwork has a hand-carved, linocut-inspired feel, with lots of whimsical patterning and personality in each animal. The designs can be cut apart and used individually, combined into borders, or arranged into larger scenes on mugs, plates, trays, tiles, planters, and other ceramic pieces.
Underglaze transfer on thin rice tissue paper, designed for ceramic artists.
Extra Large Size: 19”x13”.
Test samples are included with every order. Always test transfers first before committing to a large piece or body of work.
Temperature Range: Cone 06-10. Zinc-free Clear Glaze Recommended.
Level of Difficulty: Easy.
PLEASE NOTE: It is not recommended to rub, sponge or rinse bisqued pieces before glazing as some of the transfers can still smear at this stage.
Once glazed, the transfers are permanently fused to the clay and are considered food safe as long as the glaze used over them is rated food safe.
Check out the Underglaze Transfer process page for detailed instructions on how to use these transfers and/or download instructions here.
