Underglaze Transfer - Horses

$7.50
Sold Out

This underglaze transfer features a lively collection of horse illustrations in bold black linework. The sheet includes horses running, rearing, grazing, standing by a fence, wearing a saddle, splashing through water, and resting among flowers, along with scattered horseshoes throughout the design.

The artwork has a classic hand-drawn western/equestrian feel, with a nice mix of graceful movement, flowing manes, strong outlines, and open sketchy details. The individual images are spaced out enough to cut apart and use separately, making it easy to place a single horse or small grouping on a mug, bowl, plate, vase, tile, ornament, or other ceramic piece. This would be a great transfer for horse lovers, ranch or farm-themed pottery, western-inspired work, and handmade gifts with an equestrian feel.

  • Underglaze transfer on thin rice tissue paper.

  • Extra Large Size: 19”x13”.

  • Test samples are included with every order. Always test transfers first before committing to a large piece or body of work.

  • Temperature Range: Cone 06-10. Zinc-free Clear Glaze Recommended.

  • Level of Difficulty: Easy.

  • PLEASE NOTE: It is not recommended to rub, sponge or rinse bisqued pieces before glazing as some of the transfers can still smear at this stage.

  • Once glazed, the transfers are permanently fused to the clay and are considered food safe as long as the glaze used over them is rated food safe.

  • Check out the Underglaze Transfer process page for detailed instructions on how to use these transfers and/or download instructions here.
