Underglaze Transfer - Kokopelli Dancers
Kokopelli Dancers is a lively, graphic pattern featuring stylized dancing figures and flute-player imagery arranged between bold geometric borders. Spirals, dots, triangles, and hand-drawn motifs give the design a strong Southwestern-inspired feel, while the repeating bands create plenty of rhythm and movement.
This transfer works especially well wrapped around mugs, bowls, vases, planters, and slab-built forms. Use the full pattern for a bold all-over surface, or cut apart the individual bands and figures to create borders, accents, and your own unique compositions.
High quality underglaze transfer printed on thin rice tissue paper.
Extra Large Size: 19”x13”.
Test samples are included with every order. Always test transfers first before committing to a large piece or body of work.
Temperature Range: Cone 06-10. Zinc-free Clear Glaze Recommended.
Level of Difficulty: Medium. Large areas of color will require more burnishing. Will need touching up.
PLEASE NOTE: It is not recommended to rub, sponge or rinse bisqued pieces before glazing as some of the transfers can still smear at this stage.
Once glazed, the transfers are permanently fused to the clay and are considered food safe as long as the glaze used over them is rated food safe.
Check out the Underglaze Transfer process page for detailed instructions on how to use these transfers and/or download instructions here.
