This graceful underglaze transfer features a collection of monarch butterflies in a variety of sizes, angles, and wing positions, creating a wonderful sense of movement across the sheet. The bold black linework highlights the distinctive monarch wing patterns while keeping the design crisp and graphic.
Use the butterflies individually as focal points or scatter several together to create a lively all-over pattern. The mix of large and small motifs works beautifully on mugs, bowls, plates, vases, trays, tiles, and other ceramic surfaces. A lovely choice for botanical, nature-inspired, and garden-themed pottery.

This transfer design is also offered as a “Second”, which means there are just a few small flaws in the printed design.
Test samples are included with every order. Always test transfers first before committing to a large piece or body of work.
Temperature Range: Cone 06-10. Zinc-free Clear Glaze Recommended.
Level of Difficulty: Medium. Large areas of color will require more burnishing. Will need touching up.
PLEASE NOTE: It is not recommended to rub, sponge or rinse bisqued pieces before glazing as some of the transfers can still smear at this stage.
Once glazed, the transfers are permanently fused to the clay and are considered food safe as long as the glaze used over them is rated food safe.
