Underglaze Transfer - Paisley
This intricate Paisley underglaze transfer features a rich, all-over pattern of swirling paisley shapes, stylized flowers, leaves, and flowing decorative linework. The dense design has a hand-drawn, bohemian feel with lots of movement and detail, making it especially striking on larger ceramic surfaces.
Use the pattern as a continuous background on plates, bowls, mugs, vases, and slab-built forms, or cut smaller sections to create borders and decorative accents. The open areas within the design also make it a great option for adding extra underglaze color after application.
High quality underglaze transfer printed on thin rice tissue paper.
Extra Large Size: 19”x13”.
Test samples are included with every order. Always test transfers first before committing to a large piece or body of work.
Temperature Range: Cone 06-10. Zinc-free Clear Glaze Recommended.
Level of Difficulty: Easy.
PLEASE NOTE: It is not recommended to rub, sponge or rinse bisqued pieces before glazing as some of the transfers can still smear at this stage.
Once glazed, the transfers are permanently fused to the clay and are considered food safe as long as the glaze used over them is rated food safe.
Check out the Underglaze Transfer process page for detailed instructions on how to use these transfers and/or download instructions here.
