Underglaze Transfer - Rose Swirls
This playful all-over floral pattern features rows of hand-drawn rose swirls in bold black linework. The loose, sketchy spirals create a lively rose-like texture that feels both graphic and organic, making it a great choice for adding movement and pattern to ceramic surfaces.
The repeating design works beautifully on mugs, bowls, trays, vases, tiles, and slab-built forms. Use a larger section for a bold wallpaper-style effect, or cut out individual rose clusters to use as accents, borders, or layered design elements. The black-and-white contrast makes this transfer especially versatile and easy to pair with colored underglazes, slips, or glazes.
Underglaze transfer on thin rice tissue paper.
Extra Large Size: 19”x13”.
Test samples are included with every order. Always test transfers first before committing to a large piece or body of work.
Temperature Range: Cone 06-10. Zinc-free Clear Glaze Recommended.
Level of Difficulty: Easy.
PLEASE NOTE: It is not recommended to rub, sponge or rinse bisqued pieces before glazing as some of the transfers can still smear at this stage.
Once glazed, the transfers are permanently fused to the clay and are considered food safe as long as the glaze used over them is rated food safe.
Check out the Underglaze Transfer process page for detailed instructions on how to use these transfers and/or download instructions here.
