Underglaze Transfer - Sewing Machine Stitches
The Sewing Machine Stitches underglaze transfer features row after row of decorative stitch-inspired borders, from simple zigzags and loops to crosses, chains, waves, diamonds, and geometric patterns. Each line has its own character, giving you a wide variety of borders and accents to choose from on a single sheet.
Cut the individual rows apart to create rims, bands, borders, and repeating details on mugs, bowls, plates, vases, planters, and more. You can also combine several different stitch patterns on one piece for a layered, textile-inspired effect.
A fun and versatile design for anyone who loves sewing, quilting, embroidery, fiber arts, or geometric patterns, and a great way to add a handmade stitched look to your ceramic work.
High quality underglaze transfer printed on thin rice tissue paper.
Extra Large Size: 19”x13”.
Test samples are included with every order. Always test transfers first before committing to a large piece or body of work.
Temperature Range: Cone 06-10. Zinc-free Clear Glaze Recommended.
Level of Difficulty: Easy.
PLEASE NOTE: It is not recommended to rub, sponge or rinse bisqued pieces before glazing as some of the transfers can still smear at this stage.
Once glazed, the transfers are permanently fused to the clay and are considered food safe as long as the glaze used over them is rated food safe.
Check out the Underglaze Transfer process page for detailed instructions on how to use these transfers and/or download instructions here.
