Underglaze Transfer - Small Breed Dog Portraits
This underglaze transfer features a collection of small dog portraits in bold black linework. The design includes a variety of breeds, with each dog drawn in a detailed, expressive style—some framed with flowers, leafy accents, or little floral crowns. A playful row of paw prints and bones runs across the middle, giving the sheet a cute pet-themed border element that could be used separately.
The mix of close-up dog faces, profile portraits, florals, paw prints, and bones makes this a fun transfer for mugs, pet bowls, ornaments, small plates, planters, and gifts for dog lovers. The artwork has a sweet, vintage illustration feel while still being bold enough to stand out clearly on ceramic surfaces.
This group of small breed dogs includes: Yorkshire Terrier, Papillon, Beagle, Havapoo, Boston Terrier, Long-haired Chihuahua, Dachshund, Puginese, Shih Tzu, Bichon Frise, Jack Russell Terrier, Italian Greyhound, Chihuahua, Pomeranian, Pekingese and Corgi.
Underglaze transfer on thin rice tissue paper.
Extra Large Size: 19”x13”.
Test samples are included with every order. Always test transfers first before committing to a large piece or body of work.
This transfer design is also offered as a “Second”, which means there are just a few small flaws in the printed design.
Temperature Range: Cone 06-10. Zinc-free Clear Glaze Recommended.
Level of Difficulty: Easy.
PLEASE NOTE: It is not recommended to rub, sponge or rinse bisqued pieces before glazing as some of the transfers can still smear at this stage.
Once glazed, the transfers are permanently fused to the clay and are considered food safe as long as the glaze used over them is rated food safe.
Check out the Underglaze Transfer process page for detailed instructions on how to use these transfers and/or download instructions here.
